[A-Side] Taken from the Album ‘Out Of The Blue’ — UAR 100 [B-Side] Taken from the Album ‘Face The Music’ — UAG 30034 Sleeve notes: G&L UP36342 Marketed by UA Records Ltd Release notes: Also available with a push-out centre, a large center hole and on black vinyl. Track durations do not appear on the release. The rear of the sleeve bears extensive details on how to purchase, and for how much, ELO merchandise. The difference between this A-side and the “Out Of The Blue” album version is that the 5 seconds of the sound of the tuning radio at the beginning is missing. Pretty minor difference, but it does seem to turn up on a lot of compilations. NB. The US 7″ is a much shorter edit lacking the orchestral coda. The difference between the B-side and the “Face The Music” version is that it’s missing approx. 55 seconds of the orchestral intro. All the female backing vocals are missing and the song fades early. It appears to be the version of the song before the overdubs at Record Plant Studios in New York City. Detailed confirmation of these differences can be found at http://www.jefflynnesongs.com Runouts are etched.
