A special Record Store Day double vinyl edition of 1986 NME compilation in an extremely limited 300 run. This compilation was originally released, during the summer of ’86, as both an NME mail order-only cassette (NME. 022) and on vinyl during a series of five concerts at London’s Institute Of Contemporary Art. C86 is now reissued on vinyl as a deluxe, gatefold sleeved double-LP edition. The music has been re-mastered, with better sound quality due to not being ‘groove crammed’, with picture inner sleeves depicting original artwork and photos and detailed sleeve-notes by C86 compiler Neil Taylor. This release is strictly limited edition and manufactured exclusively for Record Store Day.
